Freke Show

NT reliability book: Worked on a chapter for the textual criticism section which is a modified version of my article “Apparational Interpolations” http://www.tektonics.org/lp/pricer07.html It’s over halfway done, and I will try to finish it tomorrow. Also planned my library trip for tomorrow. Here’s a list of libraries I make use of locally:

Reformed Theological Seminary – in Oviedo, about 20 miles away. I’m allowed to check out books free as a ministry rep. This is where I get most of my books.

Asbury Theological Seminary – on the east side of rural Orlando, about 25 miles away. They want too much money for a card, so I have to look at books in the library.

University of Central Florida – also on the east side. A card can be gotten by alumni like me for a reasonable price; this is where I got a lot of books for the NT reliability book.

Rollins College – a liberal arts school in Winter Park, about 10 miles away. I may be able to check out books here free. I’ll find out tomorrow; I’ll be visiting RTS and here for what I need.

Also, someone wrote me asking for documentation of the idea that 110 was the “ideal age” of a lifespan of Egyptians at the time of Joseph. I lost your email, but I found your answer; it’s in the IVP Bible Background Commentary.

E-Block: Worked more on Part 2 of the Joel Osteen article – compiled a little more criticism material and watched 2 more sermons. No, not much new yet compared to his books. Since I may have some extra time I ordered two new books to review for the E-Block: Deepak Chopra's Third Jesus and Eckhart Tolle's New Earth. I'll add those in to the next one if I can.

Project S: Worked with the HTML templates on files previously composed, and composed a few new ones.

Other news: I was going to experiment with a radio debate on the pagan copycat thesis, but oh my! Timothy Freke isn’t willing to go on air with me. Gee, I wonder why…couldn’t be because I sport so many crushing reviews of his work by guest writers and make a big deal about that forged Dionysus amulet, could it?
