Hum. Cocoa is too smart for his own good sometimes. Some time back I rewarded him with a treat for barking at a noise outside. (These mini poodles can be quite protective; the big ones, despite the foo-foo appearance, make good watchdogs, I understand). Now he's figured out that he MIGHT get a treat for barking at all kinds of things....like the sound of a yak snorting in Siberia. Ah well. He's funny to listen to anyway. Can you imagine the little guy issuing one of those pretentious "I'm a big dog" growls? (Folks who come to the door say he does sound larger than he is.)
Trusting the New Testament: Finished the chapter on the authorship of the Gospel of John and got a start on a primary chapter for the textual criticism section which compares manuscript evidence for the NT to other documents; the chapter title is “The Embarrassment of Riches.”
Including this chapter, I now have eight left to edit, plus two others by guests, one of which I just got today. I need to do research for 2-3 of them before I can write them up. My target date to send the manuscript to Xulon is Feb. 28.
E-Block: Got a big start on Joyce Meyer’s Straight Talk (it’s huge -- 7 of her other, smaller books crammed into one...very dull... volume).
