Reality Bites

Ouch! Didn’t get as much done as I would have liked today; I had to stop midday to visit the dentist to check out a minor fracture in a back tooth. It’ll hold for a couple of weeks, he said. (It “broke in a good way,” whatever that means.)

Trusting the New Testament: Read and took notes from Thomas Crook’s The Memory Advantage, though only from one chapter that was relevant. This was for the chapter in the NT book titled “This is the Way We Remember” noted yesterday. I finished that chapter today, which means that aside from two possible guest chapter contributions, the section on oral tradition is completed in its first draft. I will now turn my attention to completing an initial draft of the section on textual criticism.

E-Block: Began composition on the article on claims that Christmas trees are pagan. Got about halfway through. A lot of wild claims being made on this one -- reminds me of Acharya S!

Project S: Worked with the HTML templates on files previously composed, and composed a couple of new ones. This is where the dental visit took away the most time.

I'm still delighted with A T and T's service....I'll test it a few more days before making a final call.
