Cocoa Ruxpin

Every weekday morning I take a 2 mile walk with Cocoa…he usually manages a mile before he tires out on three of those mornings; on the other two mornings, and for the remainder of the other three, he gets a ride in one of these:

Spoiled? You bet.

It’s funny how people react to Cocoa when he's riding in this thing. Many remark on his appearance (“cute” and “pretty dog” are the usual labels!), but because he is so quiet, and perhaps because of his unusual color, I get comments like these on him a lot:

“That’s a REAL dog?”

Or

“I thought that was a stuffed animal!”

I’ve also had people coming towards us from the opposite direction look straight at us, expressionless for the most part, and suddenly, they’ll smile when they realize he’s not a toy.

(Ironically, after I typed this, I read an email from someone who saw these pictures of Cocoa and made a similar comment about his resemblance to a stuffed animal.)

Anyway, on to work for the day...

Reviewed Paul Maas’ classic Textual Criticism for the NT reliability book, but took no notes; there wasn’t anything new in it for the book. This actually isn’t uncommon – books on the same subject tend to be repetitive; my goal is these readings is to dig out those unique pieces that serve the purposes of my research.

For the next E-Block, began composition of the analysis of J. R. Church’s Hidden Prophecies in the Psalms, and did another Ask the Perfesser question.

Discussed plans with the pastor in LA I’ll be visiting and doing some videos with.

Did some more work on Project S that involved formatting as well as the production/editing of a number of essays. Expect to see this description used for a good long time…it’s as specific as I can get without unveiling Project S earlier than I want to.
